CHAUHAUS is ready to share the stories of NYC —
the stories of the New New York.
For one week only, CHAUHAUS is partnering with the iconic, maximalist universe of SUSHIDELIC to create a uniquely New York, Japanese-inspired Pop-Up Café.
The Café imagines what DELICATS and KAWAII MONSTERS eat to start their day. If you are what you eat—these colorful characters must be eating the rainbow!

Angie Kim is a daytime corporate designer-nighttime artist who creates energy with human connection and technologies. Currently working as a full-time lead designer at a startup, while incubating creative individuals during off-work hours.
She, herself, is an artist, too - She has received grants and awards from 6 different governments and institutes and her works can be found in over 13 galleries and spaces in South Korea and New York.

Julia Xu
Julia Xu is a visual artist and current Master’s student at NYU’s ITP, working at the intersection of memory, movement, and moving images. With a background in painting and installation, she blends the tactile with the digital to explore memory, movement, and shared experience. Her work invites reflection on how art and technology shape the ways we connect and remember.

Mashiyat Zaman
Mashiyat Zaman specializes in using game engines and web tools to craft interactive storytelling experiences. His practice focuses on placemaking through digital media, and he advocates the development of community-owned technologies that can activate our public spaces, rather than creating imitations of them.
He lives in Queens and dreams of opening a kissaten serving his original curry.

She also leads mochi mochi dev, a Web3 collective for gender minorities, championing equity in the digital space.
